Dr. Sarah Naon was born and raised in Paris, France, where she successfully completed her scientific baccalauréat. Soon after, she moved to New York City with the idea of continuing her studies in the USA. Well prepared for this adventure, she was warmly welcomed at Yeshiva University, Stern College for Women. After four wonderful years there, during which she consistently made the dean’s list, she graduated with honors upon successful completion of a dual bachelor’s degree.

While still an undergraduate, she had a life-changing moment as she was undergoing orthodontic treatment. Deeply impressed by the personal impact of orthodontics in her own life and inspired by the precision and devotion to excellence of her orthodontist, she decided that she, too, wanted to help others in their equally important journey towards achieving a beautiful smile.

Upon graduation, Dr. Naon was accepted at Nova Southeastern University of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with top honors, ranking third of her class of 127. As a student there, she held leadership positions in numerous organizations, was selected for the Honors Program in Orthodontics and conducted her own research as part of an ADEA ACDCFP fellowship program. In addition, she was awarded membership to the Honor Society for academic excellence Phi Kappa Phi and received the Dr. Oscar Sotsky Excellence in Orthodontics Award and the Oral Medicine Achievement Award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine for her contribution in the fight against oral cancer.

Her graduation from dental school brought her one step closer to her ultimate dream of becoming an orthodontist. Selected from among hundreds of applicants to attend the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Orthodontics program in Boston, she spent the next two years being trained by top experts and researchers in the use of the latest cutting-edge technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic patients. During her training, she also received numerous scholarships, including the Dr. Suzanne Rothenberg-Furman Scholarship.

From the very beginning, Dr. Naon has been driven by the desire to give back through volunteer work.  Three of her most meaningful experiences have been serving as a volunteer student dentist at Mission of Mercy in Pensacola, FL, being the event coordinator for free oral health services for underserved children as part of Give Kids a Smile, and planning an Oral Health Care Instruction Program for autistic children in a local school. Nothing is more important to her than being there for others and enabling them to get the services they so rightfully deserve.

When not working, Dr. Naon devotes herself to raising her 8 years old daughter Ava Gabrielle. She has a passion for cooking and baking and is working on her first cookbook. Always ready for adventure, she enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and traveling, and loves meeting people of different cultures and backgrounds.
